I answered some violence, and sex but it's so mild it's almost not there. I Just enjoy the funny writing of these books. I seen them around for a while and thought I might try them. I'm now in the process of starting at the beginning and reading them all to meet the characters. Quick easy reads, the mysteries are ok but the characters are the best things about these book.

I thoight I had them all and found this one to be missing from my collection. For a brief moment it was like meeting the series anew.

Love the cat who.......this one was really good and kept me guessing until the end. Koko does it again! Brilliant!
I love all The Cat Who books. I miss Lilian Jackson Braun so much. RIP. I wish someone would finish her last book she was writing. I wish someone would write some more books of Qwill, KoKo and YumYum. They wouldn't be as good but at least the stories could continue.
I have to read the next book in The Cat Who series each time I finish the one I'm currently reading. I'm not getting much done but I'm certainly enjoying this series.
When I was first introduced to these books, I found the premise exceedingly silly, but then found myself intrigued by the story and couldn't put it down. I then went back and started with book 1 and am now on book 9, having enjoyed them all and looking forward to the next ones. Extremely light reading and a crazy host of characters, but good escapist fun. Purrrrfect for the beach!
This is book #8 in "The Cat Who..." series by Lillian Jackson Braun. If you read my reviews you may notice #7 is missing. That's because "The Cat Who Knew Shakespeare (#7) is not available on yet. ( customer service says it's in the works). In "The Cat Who Sniffed Glue" Qwill is living in a town named Pickax as part of the requirement of his inheritance. His detective cat Koko starts showing an interest in glue, but it's just to help his owner pick up clues to the murder of a banker's son and his wife. It looks like a robbery gone bad, but Koko the Siamese knows better. Yet another great book from the series!
