I'm just going to finish my tears before I write this review, what a way to touch people's hearts, Bea has gone through so much at a young age and I could completely understand why she acted the way she did, her character while it would seem you shouldn't be sympathetic to you just couldn't help but feel everything she was going through, I loved the way that Emma wrote Bea, I was behind her 100%, and as for Jeremy you only see him through Bea's eyes but you fall in love with him through that, his kindness, sympathy, sense of humour but most of all his love. I don't think I will ever see a roll of duct tape without thinking about this book. This is a short story, which I understand is a prequel to another story which I will be reading, but although short it has so much in it that you come away completely satisfied. A wonderful story in its own right I would recommend it to those who love a good story with emotion but normal and real characters for although Jeremy is a billionaire, this is not about him having money but about who he is, and who Bea is and how they fit together.

I received a gifted copy from the author in exchange for my honest review, so here it is. This one will shed some light on Bea's past and let you see why she did some of the things she did in Remembering Our Song. All Bea has every wanted to do was sing and her dad was behind her 100% with all the support she needed. Until the day her world feel apart and it would not get any better until she meets Jeremy at her job while she is bringing coffee into the boardroom. When she trips and all the coffee lands in Jeremy's lap. Good thing there was milk he could pour in his lap to stop the burn. Bea and Jeremy will go through a lot and when she realizes that her past was not her fault, will Jeremy still want her? This story will break your heart, make you laugh and just fall in love with Bea and Jeremy. This is a great addition to the first book and I loved it too. Thanks Emma for letting me read this one. Can't wait for more from this author.
This story is about a loss so great that your life stops, not because you want it to, or asked for it too, but because your heart is so broken, your soul so shattered, that you can't possibly continue on while allowing your emotions to continue being part of your life...and what is life with no emotions? There is nothing that can help Bea find her way back to life, nothing to make her feel again...until Jeremy. You know it's true love, you know you've met your soulmate, when you can allow yourself to feel again because the love you feel for this person and love you get from this person is just a tiny bit stronger than the sorrow that has consumed you. That is what this story is about. Bea finding her way back to herself. It's emotional, it will make you cry, it will pain your heart, and it will make you laugh out loud.

Emma outdid herself with this one.
I flew threw this book, had trouble putting it down even when I was crying, I felt so much for the young girl Beatrice!
Beatrice was living the life of a happy 15 year old well adjusted daddy's girl and it all changed in one night !She looses her dad in a tragic accident and unfortunately ; the one person left who should of been there to support her, and each other , her mother was to busy falsely laying the blame for her fathers death a Bea's feet. Gone is her support for her singing ,the band and someone she can tell everything to.
Instead of things getting better as time passed it only got worse to the point were poor Bea , became totally isolated her overwhelming grief starts the separation from her freinds , band members and her boyfriend but her mothers hate puts the final touches on it.
It took several years and a chance meeting with the young , rich handsome Jeremey Holt to bring the real Bea back to the surface, Will the real Bea stay around? Will Jeremey Holt hang around? Can Bea survive the attention being seen with him evokes?

Here is the thing; I am not telling you. Go read it yourself, I found the books blurb from the author a good preview and I found the book to be a emotional roller coaster I could not put down and did not wish too!

This billionaire book is a little of everything across the Romance spectrum, and I mean that in the best way! Variety is the spice of life, right? In Writing Our Song, elements of angst, mystery, sweet romance, and steam come together like spices in a perfectly slow cooked dish.

Beatrice has had a very rough coming of age. With the way the fates tossed and turned her around, she seems like the last lady in the world who'd find the perfect man. Only her love of music has sustained her through many hardships, and even that seems to have faded by the time she receives an offer from billionaire Jeremy Holt.

Jeremy is a mindblowingly AWESOME romantic foil for Bea. He's the one man relentless enough to pierce her defenses, and in the process help her rediscover herself. It's a joy to watch him bring new life to this sweet dormant creature.

I enjoyed the long dance between these two as they grapple with an improbable love. Even better that their love surfaces all over again in the next book, but here, where things are just beginning for the first time, everything is electric, new, and exciting. I also liked the role music plays in this book. Like any good song, this romance moves with a fine rhythm that will get stuck in your head, through light and dark chords to a very satisfying conclusion.

Emma South is a gifted writer who hits the right emotional notes from the get go. Can't wait to read more from this awesome new writer!
