I used to read this to my children. This contains two stories. One is about three kittens that came to the farm in their own ways, and how they grew up into cats. Each has a different personality. I remember one was very whiny, and one was a brave, fat tomcat that liked to grab your toes.

Then their is a second story about "little owl". Little owl is orphaned, so they hand raise it at the farm, and try to teach it how to hunt, and eventually set it free.

I suspect both of these cute stories really happened.
