Murder Under Cover A Bibliophile Mystery Kate Carlisle 9780451233516 Books
Derek has officially moved to San Francisco and is staying with Brooklyn when he isn't traveling for work while looking for a house. Robin has returned from India visiting her mother bearing gifts. Her mother's friend sends a book home with Robin for Brooklyn to restore, a very old Kama Sutra. Robin has met a hot man upon her return and he winds up murdered in her bed. Soon she moves in too and crazy things ensue. Brooklyn of course tries to solve the case with her old cop friends Lee and Jagomar. Minka makes an appearance of course as a psycho comic relief. I had figured out the what but not quite how the pieces fit together until towards the end. REally liked the personal progress too

Murder Under Cover A Bibliophile Mystery Kate Carlisle 9780451233516 Books Reviews
Great series of books. Good, strong characters that carry from book to book. Story lines and mysteries are different each time. No graphic sex, just tasteful relationships. I am reading the entire series.
I enjoy this series. There is a murder but it is not gory, they are just trying to figure out who killed them.
The adventure continues with the characters strengthen to join in the chase. Add a cat, food, and The City, cuddle up!
I chose this rating because I prefer a faster moving mystery. I also prefer a more complicated story to read
Too obvious and yet very far fetched. Too many spies and very obvious as to who the main culprit was. A bit disappointing
Ditto above, except I didn't mention she keeps finding dead bodies in every book and there's this nasty girl who gives her a rough
time.
I thought I'd written a review for this one, but got an email from asking me what I thought of the book. It was as great as the ones before it! I loved everything about it.
Kate Carlisle's Bibliophile Mysteries star Brooklyn Wainwright a bookbinder who lives in San Francisco and grew up in a commune in the wine country of Sonoma. Besides learning about book restoration, the reader will enjoy her sleuthing skills.
Homicide in Hardcover introduces Brooklyn and her mentor who she finds murdered.
Topically, the Edinburgh Book Fair is the location for the next mystery in If Books Could Kill.
Back in San Francisco, Brooklyn is teaching a bookbinding class at Bay Area Book Arts Center in The Lies That Bind when she investigates the murder of the woman director.
The last book I read was Murder Under Cover where Brooklyn is asked to appraise and restore a rare copy of the Kama Sutra that her friend Robin has brought back from India. The mystery starts when a guy who Robin just met is murdured.
The final book in the series so far is One Book in the Grave but I haven't read that one yet.
