Yes, Indiscretion is a story that includes infidelity; however, the story is not about infidelity. The book is a lot more than that. It is a story about two men, Chris and Leif, coming to love each other and as a result, they become their authentic selves and they learn to accept who they are. Furthermore, I enjoyed this novel because the story kept going even after Chris and Leif officially became a couple and said their I love yous. Stories such as these usually end shortly after the couple has their HEA. In Indiscretion, several of the subplots are given the opportunity to play out and provide the reader a resolution. The infidelity is not glamourized and neither Chris or Leif feels right about it. In the book, Chris realizes that he and his wife have become roommates. They just happen to be roommates that sleep in the same bed and that's the extent of their relationship as husband and wife. All in all, they lead seperate lives and come and go as they please without explanation to one another. Greene handles the infidelity issue very well.
In addition, Greene creates well fleshed out main characters. The reader is able to get the know and understand the characters little by little and the story develops. Great character development.
Finally, the sex. It is frequent, but not uneccessarily frequent. This is not a gay-for-you story; however, Chris is new to male/male romantic relationships. Furthermore, he hasn't had sex in quite awhile. He is also eager to experience a physical relationship with the charasmatic, sarcastic and sexy Leif. Also, Leif has quite the libido, so because of these things, one would expect frequent sexual encounters between Chris and Leif.
I can't wait to read Jack Greene's next full length book. I definately recommend this one.

Indiscretion edition by Jack Greene Literature Fiction eBooks Reviews
This was my first book I've read by this author. It was highly erotic and also had a great story. I think everything happened too easy but this is a romance after all.
I do not like or support infidelity but found myself hoping Chris and Lief would find a way to make their relationship work. Their romance was nice to see progress even with its ups and downs.
I've known so many guy guys who got married for the wrong reasons to women- finally things are changing.Kudos to the celebrities who come out and help to make gay relationships be accepted as normal- may the next generation be freer and happier.Books like this particular one help to make good people dream of a better world.
Loved the ebb and flow of the characters and the way the story began. Lief is a character that will not be reckoned with and Chris was alone in a marriage that was on it's way from bad to worse, so why not whet his appetite a little on the side? Like I said, loved how it began, but didn't care for the way the story was redirected further on. So much more could have been done to maximize a better HEA.
This book, I feel was well written, it very tastefully conveyed the feelings, the emotions, and the sexual expression, without being vulgar. I found this, well, love story very refreshing to read, it was tastefully written, allowing your own mind to paint it's own picture of the sensual encounters that both Chris and Leif where experiencing. Overall I believe this book was very well written, tasteful, and very much a refreshing joy to read. The only reason I gave this book a 4 star rating is because I find it hard to be so taken with any book to warrant a full 5 star. I'm not trying to say this wasn't a wonderful read. Because it most definitely was! Read for yourself, and you see what you think. As my opinion is just that, only my opinion. Enjoy the read!!
I did not care for the writing style for this book and the story seemed forced. It was like reading a newspaper report and lacked the emotional impact that really good writing can bring. The story is okay but not great. It just did not work for me and left me disappointed. But I hope the author keeps writing and begins to find ways to improve and create interesting and passionate male to male love stories.
Ads for the original Superman movie proclaimed, "You will believe a man can fly". Read this book and you will believe straight men cruise bars to pick up gay men. I loved this book; absolutely loved it. It is one of those books which hook you with the first word, drawing you upon a thermal to soar for the duration of the book. Clearly it is the author's artistry and skill which allows this. The characters were so well developed and imposed onto a story to which they were so well adapted enabling a believable story with characters who were likable and easily identified with. I would readily give the book ten stars but am restricted to only five.
